A community celebrating the creative spirit!
Each year at the height of the fall season, artists of the Riverwest neighborhood put down their rakes and open their doors for one of the finest walking art tours in the Great Lakes region. Now in its twenty-seventh year, ArtWalk 2011 is the first and largest in the city of Milwaukee and has spawned numerous other neighborhood artwalks including Bay View, Washington Heights and Waukesha. ArtWalk 2011 provides an interface for artist and arts appreciator by inviting the public into artists’ studios, homes, businesses, and galleries in the Riverwest neighborhood.
1. Deadline: is July 1st, 2011
2. Fees: Fees for this year’s ArtWalk are:
$5 for your artwalk site,
$10 to participate in the member show,
$15 to do both.
3. RAA will do a catalog this year with the
ArtWalk map.
4. Participating artists should send a jpeg
of their art (300ppi) before July 1st. Send
a high resolution digital image to
riverwestart@gmail.com.
